Bring this focus to a round

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Notice the feedback after each input.

Understand the aim

Clear your nine carrom men after the queen is covered. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.

Work through the instructions

  1. White starts; set striker aim and power.
  2. Own-colour pockets earn another shot.
  3. Cover the queen with an own-colour man in the same or next shot.
  4. Striker fouls return one own pocketed man if available.
  5. Finish your colour after a covered queen.

Choosing and moving on screen

Touch to aim; sliders set power and angle; striker-position controls and Shoot. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Use the visible help when you are unsure of the next input.

See the idea in action

Queen and own man in one legal shot cover immediately. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Keep the controls nearby.

An important reminder

The last own man returns if the queen remains uncovered. Compare the situation with the worked example. Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart.
