Word Search: from controls to your first round
Make Word Search your next activity in the game library. Find every listed word in a 10×10 grid. Look at what changes after your first action. Read the objective before making your first input. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.
Each board contains eight target words from the included English word list.
A small practice goal
Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Notice the feedback after each input.
Understand the aim
Find every listed word in a 10×10 grid. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Try to explain the aim in your own words.
Follow these playing steps
- Select the first and last letter of a straight word.
- Words can run horizontally, vertically or diagonally, in either direction.
- Find all eight targets.
- New puzzle shuffles again.

Where a round can go wrong
Words cannot turn corners. A different version of the game may use a different rule. When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round.
